About Us

My husband is Brazilian, I am Colombian and we live in the U.S. We have decided to practice the "One parent / One language" approach with our sons; my husband only speaks to them in Portuguese and I only speak to them in Spanish.

Although I only speak to them in Spanish, the strong influence of English and Portuguese (friends) worried us and started researching for methods and tools to teach them Spanish. We soon realized it is not always easy to find the above in local libraries, bookstores or toy stores. Therefore we started a thorough research and will be presenting to you the reviews of the best books, DVD’s, toys and games in the market and where to find them.

We encourage you to bookmark our page since we will constantly be reviewing items that we believe are educative, have proper Spanish language, and will be fun and engaging for our children. Since there are so many items in the market, we will only concentrate on the good and very best.

Mi esposo es Brasilero, yo soy Colombiana y vivimos en los Estados Unidos. Hemos decidido usar el método "Un padre / Un idioma" con nuestros hijos; mi esposo solo les habla en Portugués y yo solo les hablo en Español.
